20 Years Younger by Bob Greene with Dr. Kotler
Bob Greene, Little, Brown, $27.99 (288p) ISBN 978-0-316-13378-4
It’s never been simpler to look, feel, and be twenty years younger.
The old adage says that age is only a number—and Bob Greene is here to show you how true that really is. In 20 YEARS YOUNGER, the bestselling author brings you a cutting-edge, science-based program built around four essential pillars—exercise, nutrition, skin care, and sleep. The science of aging has shown that incorporating these four pillars into your life can change your physiology—allowing you to significantly slow down age-related decline and function as if you were actually years younger.
With health experts Harold Lancer, MD, Ronald Kotler, MD, and Diane McKay, PhD, Greene outlines easy and effective steps you can take to rebuild the foundation of youth, enjoy better health, improve energy, control stress, and have a more positive outlook. You’ll find advice on customizing an exercise plan, age-proofing your skin, creating the best sleep environment, and enhancing your diet with longevity-promoting foods, recipes, and menus. Learn how improving one body system can jumpstart changes in another (did you know that exercise helps keep cognitive skills sharp, and lack of sleep makes you more prone to obesity?) and the daily changes that can reverse age-related decline. Practical, effective, and easy to follow, 20 YEARS YOUNGER presents a workable lifestyle program that will help you look and feel happier, healthier, and younger than ever.
